Ever After: TIFA's Romance Festival presented by Rakuten Kobo

The Festival

The Toronto International Festival of Authors (TIFA) is delighted to invite you to Ever After, TIFA’s Romance Festival presented by Rakuten Kobo. The first edition of Ever After takes place at the Yorkville Royal Sonesta Hotel in Toronto, November 21-23, 2025.

Festival goers will enjoy three days of panels, readings, interactive workshops, and signings with notable authors spanning the romance genre, from westerns, to romantasy, to holiday romance, and more.

Featured guests include Cecelia Ahern, author of PS, I Love You with her new book Paper Heart; best-selling author Jenny Colgan with her new book The Secret Christmas Library; and Briar Boleyn, author of the Bloodwing Academy and the Blood of a Fae series.

Passes

With our Pass system, you can access multiple events on a particular day, or for the entire Festival, for one inclusive price. Take in all the readings, signings and workshops at the Yorkville Royal Sonesta Hotel, dance the night away at the Ever After Ball, and enjoy the camaraderie of your fellow readers and writers in our festive atmosphere. 

 First Love 3-Day Pass buyers receive complimentary access to the exclusive opening night party, and High Tea on Nov 21, 2025. Don't delay: only 50 First Love 3-Day Passes are available. 

Some events are included with Passes but require pre-registration. As you select your passes, don't forget to add a Tea Tasting Workshop, and the Tarot Workshop to your itinerary before you check out.

Box Office

The on-site TIFA Box Office will be located at the Yorkville Royal Sonesta Hotel and open during Festival hours.

After purchasing your pass online, you'll receive a QR code. Present it at the Box Office in person to get your festival badge, which grants access to your events.

Masterclasses are booked separately, and use QR code entry at the door. 

High Tea Ticket Information 

All 3-Day Passes include entrance to one High Tea event. The date of your High Tea is noted on your ticket type. 

Friday 1-Day Passes include entrance to High Tea on Fri Nov 21. 

Sunday 1-Day Passes include entrance to High Tea on Sun Nov 23. 

Saturday 1-Day Passes include entry to Tea, Cake and Heartbreak on Sat Nov 22. 

 Ever After Ball Ticket Information 

First Love 3-Day Passes and Ever After 3-Day Passes include entry to the Ever After Ball.

Swoon 3-Day Passes do not include entry to the Ever After Ball. 

1-Day Passes do not include entry to the Ever After ball. If desired, you may add a ticket to the Ever After Ball on to your 1-Day Pass at checkout.
